PR and Marketing Coordinator Charis Chiu takes us to New York for AG Jean's Fall presentation, From Canvas to Cloth - a collection inspired by the artist at work, where utility meets creativity through effortless layers and thoughtfully crafted silhouettes.

8 AM:
I woke up after a long day of fittings the day before. Feeling a bit anxious about the weather but was nonetheless excited for the day!
9 AM:
First things first, coffee!
10 AM:
Wrote some work emails before getting ready for the day.
11 AM:
Time for a quick lunch with the team at one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city, Thai Diner. The “Pad See Ew with Fried Chicken" is one of my favorites!
12 PM:
After a delicious lunch, we headed to the venue for the big day!
12:30 PM:
We arrived at the venue, where I checked in with Mark, our set designer, to make sure we were all set for the presentation and finalized a couple of outstanding things, like logo decal placements and the finishing touches of the set design.
2 PM:
Checked in with vendors and did a final run-through of every style being featured in the presentation. Also, checked in with the LA team to make sure they had everything they needed and that we are all set!
3 PM:
The rain messed up my hair, so our sweet producer Lynne got the hair team to give my curls a touch-up before the presentation.
4 PM:
I then did a quick outfit change for the presentation. Here, I am wearing the matching Deven and Isa Jacket set in Glimmer from our Holiday collection.
5 PM:
It’s showtime! I walked our guests through our upcoming Fall ’25 collection. It was great catching up and connecting with so many people in our community.
8 PM:
After wrapping up our presentation, I went through the photos that we’d be sending out for the media blast with Isaac, our in-house photographer.
We then cleaned up the space and headed to our NY showroom to drop off all the samples and accessories we had at the presentation.
8:45 PM:
To celebrate an incredible evening and everyone’s hard work, we had a team dinner with our PR team at Bar Primi for some delicious Italian food and drinks!
11 PM:
After dinner, we debated over going out for a nightcap but ultimately decided the bed sounded much nicer…and was most definitely much needed after a very long day.
There’s arguably no better feeling than lying down after a long day, and I was feeling so grateful and proud of all the teams who came together to bring this vision to life! Here’s to another NYFW in the books!
